Oh how often we despise the eternal blessings of God for a temporary satisfaction in this world.
God has so much for you when you trust and believe in Him. When you make Him Lord of your life, you receive an inheritance, friend.
You are grafted in as one with Israel through the cross and resurrection of Jesus to be joint heirs with Him! The flesh will always crave this world. It only thinks about temporary satisfaction like a bowl of soup for a hungry belly. We are so quick to be like Esau and despise our birthright and the blessings of being a child of God. We will cheapen and walk away from what God has for us in a temporary moment of weakness.
You hungry?
Jesus is The Bread of Life.
You thirsty?
He is Living Water.
You tired?
He says come unto Him and He will give you rest.
You scared?
He says He will cover you with His feathers and shelter you with His wings.
You feeling weak?
When you trust in the Lord, your strength will be renewed. You will rise on wings like an eagle and run and not grow weak.
You feeling sad?
The Lord is near the broken-hearted and he heals the crushed in spirit.
Temporary emotions, circumstances and situations always have an eternal solution. You have a treasury of riches at your disposal as a child of God. Push yourself back from the table of this world and feast on the riches of His grace!
Jesus is always the answer.
