Badge of Trust

I never did Girl Scouts, so I don’t know about earning badges for cookie sales and being a good neighbor. I don’t know anything about starting a fire and probably wouldn’t survive in the wilderness on my own.

Good thing I don’t have to worry about being on my own with my Lord.

See, when you accept Jesus as your Savior, you are never alone. You aren’t “thrown to the wolves.” as a believer. The Comforter, the Holy Spirit is here to help you “survive”. Isaiah 26:3 showed up twice today on two separate occasions, so I opened my Bible to it, because I know God had something for me in those words. When I got to my Bible, verses 3 and 4 were highlighted:

“Perfect, absolute peace surrounds those whose imaginations are consumed with you; they confidently trust in you. Yes, trust in the Lord Yahweh forever and ever! For Yah, the Lord God, is your Rock of Ages!”

-Isaiah 26:3-4 TPT

God, our Rock, has been on my thoughts and in teachings several times recently…maybe He is wanting to remind me that He is unshakeable…

unmoving…

solid.

We don’t have to try and survive each day or make it in the wilderness alone. We just have to remember to ALWAYS trust in the everlasting rock that is our God! It’s not about merit…but I do want to earn my badge in trusting Him in EVERYTHING.

Daily living…

In the wilderness…

Even on the mountaintops.

Maybe you feel like you are all alone…there’s no peace within you and you don’t know how you will make it through the next few days. Set your mind on Jesus. Trust in Jesus. Allow His peace to enter your tent and camp out in His grace. You can trust in Him forever…as He isn’t moving. Over time, your faith will increase and you will earn that badge of trust in The Rock. You can depend on Him and His promise!
