You know I don’t always give the popular opinion around here, but I just felt the Lord sending me back to Psalm 139 to read through to the end. Now, I’ve read it many times before, but God just kept pointing me to verses 13-16 and I kept picturing a little baby in the womb. Now, I love me some babies, but have had to put outside of my brain the fact that my body can’t carry one and I’m probably too old to it over again! But enough about that…here’s what those verses say:
“For it was You who created my inward parts; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will praise You because I have been remarkably and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful and I know this very well. My bones were not hidden from you when I was made in secret, when I was formed in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw me when I was formless; all my days were written in Your book and planned before a single on of them began.” Psalm 139:13-16
Now, I don’t know about you…but I have some questions based on these scripture for those that think it’s okay to harm children and kill unborn babies:
Who told you it was okay to rip the seams from something that God knitted together?
Who told you to shorten the days of an innocent life when God says HE wrote down the days before they even began?
Who told you to destroy something that was remarkably and wonderfully made?
I can assure you the answers to all these questions is not, “It was God.”
God says that what He creates is wonderful. It’s not for us to decide that it is not. We are to praise Him for it! No matter the circumstances in which a child is conceived, God has a purpose for each and every life…it is not up to us to put our plans before God’s for our own life and especially not for someone else’s. I don’t care whether you conceived a bay or not, it isn’t yours! My children were God’s before they were ever mine.
When something is knitted together, it is interlocked with a series of loops, so everything is connected. Something that is knitted is made with love, wouldn’t agree…it takes time? Well, friend…God has time invested in you and me me AND every baby is connected to the Father in love. Be careful what you decide to try to disconnect from the Father…
