Why are we so divided?
The more I study God’s Word, I realize that it is nothing more than schemes and tricks from the devil himself. He loves division and chaos. When we choose to live in peace, the devil gets intimidated.
When we choose to strap on shoes of peace and march in unity as the body of Christ, the sound of our feet marching in unison is like a parade of peace blanketing the street with harmony and a sweet melody to those around us.
What does that do, you ask?
The sound serves as notice to the devil that we are ready, standing our ground and fearlessly advancing against his kingdom.
Why do we allow the devil to have so much control and be the drum major? I think because we are too afraid to live victoriously…’cause when we let the Holy Spirit naturally guide us in living and sharing the blessings of gospel peace with those around us, we must submit to God’s leadership and promptings. As for me, I would much rather march with Jesus. His formation is different, His cadence is far more beautiful than the clamor of this world and there is so much peace when you choose to march to the beat of His drum!
