Ever felt like you can’t catch a break? Girl, I feel you! I have felt a little frustrated myself, lately. There have been several things happen to that have made me feel like there was some injustice towards me…like I have taken two steps forward and seven backwards 😏 (if I am being honest). I have been talking to God like I should have in the last few days or spending alone time with Him (I used life as an excuse), but I sat down this morning with my coffee and the book of Amos. Amos talks a lot about injustice…and testifies to Israel’s guilt over rejecting God’s covenant. The below words brought so much comfort to me and let me know that Jesus IS THE “Justice League”.
Sorry, but I have two boys and I must know about superheroes…I’m more of a Batman girl, but Superman just seemed a little more fitting for my Jesus this morning. Hope these words offer comfort if you are feeling a little frustrated like me.
“Because we have access to God’s Word and know about His character and promises, we can fully trust Him even when we are frustrated by the injustice around us. He’s aware of every circumstance. He knows the big picture and will not ignore injustice. His timing has purpose, and whether or not we see all justice come to fruition in our lifetime, we can trust that God is in complete control of the final outcome.”

Amos 1:2 “‘And he [Amos] said, ‘The LORD roars from Zion and utters his voice from Jerusalem; the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the top of Carmel withers. ‘”
