A Light Bulb

I love this analogy of the Trinity in a book I am reading. It says there are three main ingredients required to produce light: electricity, a bulb and the rays flowing from the bulb.

Gosh.

I want to have rays the Holy Spirit flowing from me that show Jesus. Then I remembered I had lightbulbs somewhere in my Bible. As I looked through trying to remember the scripture, I found them in Isaiah 9:2c:

“The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; a light has dawned on those living in the land of darkness.” Now this particular verse is talking about the coming of the Messiah…but shouldn’t we want to be like Him? I want the people walking in darkness to see Jesus flowing from me with a great light! I want the Holy Spirit to be so thick within me that they can’t help but believe in the supernatural power of an Almighty God!

A light in the darkness…that’s Jesus. That’s who I wanna be.
