Just like with Lazarus, the only person that has the final say in your life is Jesus. His ways are not our ways and we often times don’t understand why God works the way He does, but I do understand that He knows exactly what we need, when we need it.
I have prayed many times to witness miracles like Mary and Martha did that day with Jesus…Something that can only be explained as a work of God. When Jesus was four days late to raise Lazarus, it was because He wanted undeniable proof that He was who He claimed to be. I love seeing that undeniable proof. It makes my faith so much stronger!
We don’t have to know all the details. We don’t have to know the whys and the hows. But we can trust Jesus will accomplish His purpose. Even if our circumstances aren’t good, His purpose always is.
John 11:40
