Ultimately, nothing should be trusted to govern your life like an unchangeable standard. What is the unchangeable standard? God’s Word…The Bible…His Truth…and the light that is shown through His Word.
Don’t trust your feelings, your gut, intelligence or instinct. Those can change with the drop of a hat. When we expose everything in our lives and recalibrate all feelings, instinct and experience with the light of God’s Word, then our path is made clear. If it doesn’t line up with the Word of God, then it isn’t holy and you might want to quit walking down that road.
