Sometimes the journey we are on does not make any sense whatsoever. We totally had things playing out different in our mind and our plans don’t line up with those that God has laid out before us.
The easy thing to do would be to throw our hands up in defeat and say that we aren’t equipped for the journey we are facing, but
God.
The easy thing to do would be to lean on the the things of this world that are temporal and consume us expecting everlasting relief, but
God.
It’s easy to go to thoughts of loneliness when you are traveling into unknown territory, but
God.
Lamentations 3:22-23 says, “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, Because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.”
He is faithful even when you can’t see your next step. His mercies are new every single morning and do not forget to turn around and remind yourself of how far He has brought you thus far.
Do not give up.
His compassion will not fail you.
You are not alone.
As I sit at my messy kitchen table drinking my coffee surrounded by last night’s leftover supper dishes and work that I brought home with me, God poured these words in to my spirit so strong and deep. I have found myself over the last few days (and this morning) struggling to find the goodness in some situations in my own life, but
God. He always shows up right on time.
I am certain that there is also someone, somewhere who needs to hear these words, too.

Even with its problems, it truly is a “Good Morning.”
