God tests us with stress before He trusts us with success.
Warriors can’t go into battle and predict where the arrows will come from, but they do prepare for battles and come equipped to walk out victorious.
Know that God is going to test your faith (and even your patience, like he did Job’s), but after the stress, you are blessed and awarded with victory in the battle. The hard journey traveled prepares us for the task that we have before us.
I’m gonna go forward confident. Confident that success awaits after the arrows have been fired and my shield has been laid down. I’m just gonna keep (figuratively) fighting because I know that there is a storehouse of grain awaiting me after the famine.
