A friend reminded me yesterday (as we caught up on life at the gas pumps at QT) of a verse that has been given to me over the course of the last year and a half at least a handful of times…
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14
Before I got out to pump my gas, I was frustrated, defeated and not understanding why things sometimes happen the way they do. But, after hearing that verse again, I had a renewed sense of peace…that God is fighting for me at this very second. He just wants me to BE STILL. I left a lot of battles in the ring last night as I prayed to God…I’m just gonna sit ringside and watch him handle everything. I’ve made my bets on Jesus and I can sit in the stands knowing the fight is fixed and I’m already a winner.
