I have this bush in my yard that has the prettiest pink blooms on it right now.
In October.
It is quite the sight when you are raking leaves and look over and see these beautiful, pink blooms that are out of season. These blooms have withstood the tornado last week, lots of rain, and the last few cold days (even this mornings 38 degree temperatures). As I was enjoying the crisp air this weekend and walking around the yard, God told me I needed to be like this bush.
He said:
“In season or out of season, always bloom, Ashlee. When the wind is howling around you…keep blooming. When the storms are raging and you can’t feel any peace in your heart, just bloom. When people around you treat you indifferently or cold, just bloom. As long as you are grounded in my Word and have faith in Me, no matter what season of life you find yourself in…you will bloom. If others don’t appreciate your blooms, don’t stop blooming…they just don’t realize the storms you weathered or the pruning it took to get you to the beautiful flower you are right now.”
So…just as clearly as God said it to me, I’m gonna say it to you…
Just bloom.
