I’ve focused a lot of time over the last couple of weeks.
Will I have enough time to finish orders?
How will I find the time to get my Christmas shopping done?
How will I manage to pull off everything that needs to get done by Christmas Eve?
As I sit here tonight, God gave me enough time to do it all! I haven’t picked up my phone for two days, spent time home with the family preparing for Christmas Day and even got a couple naps, too!
I’m thankful for time.
Enough time.
Extra time.
Every time (I get to meditate on his greatness).
As I sit here on Christmas Eve, I am thankful for The Creator of time. He always was and always will be. Since the creation, His timing has been perfect and our failures set in motion the greatest love story of all time…a plan of redemption through a baby in a manger named Jesus. His story transcends time and He remains the only constant in our ever-changing world. That silent night in Bethlehem resonated with prophecy fulfilled…Oh, to go back to those moments in time and catch a glimpse of this newborn baby tucked away in a cave…born to die on an old cross on Golgotha’s hill. I am sure I would marvel at the sight of The First Noel…an extraordinary baby born to change the world!
Not only would I marvel, but I can say with complete certainty that standing beside that manger staring at the flesh of God himself…time wouldn’t matter.
